Victims of Mohamed Al Fayed tell BBC of alleged *****, trafficking

Five women who say they were ********* assaulted by former Harrods boss Mohamed Al Fayed have told their stories to BBC Breakfast.

The women, who have waived their right to anonymity, spoke of a pattern of ******* harassment while working at the company.

One survivor, Lindsay, alleged she was trafficked to Paris where Fayed ********* harassed, and eventually attempted to ***** her.

The BBC’s initial investigation heard testimony from more than 20 female ex-Harrods employees who say Al Fayed ********* assaulted or ****** them.

Fayed ***** last year aged 94, and owned Harrods between 1985 and 2010.

In a statement, the current owners said that the Harrods of today “is a very different organisation to the one owned and controlled by Al Fayed between 1985 and 2010”, and one that seeks to “put the ******** of our employees at the heart of everything we do”.

It said it wants to “settle claims in the quickest way possible, avoiding lengthy legal proceedings for the women involved”.
