Petra yet to come up with the capital in Calidus Resources ******

Sydney’s Petra Capital is yet to come up with the $170 million it needs to fund a last-ditch play for collapsed miner Calidus Resources, as it seeks to counter a rescue bid by prospector Mark Creasy.

Calidus hit the wall in late June when key lender Macquarie Bank put receivers from Kordamentha into the Pilbara gold miner and the company’s Warrawoona mine has been on partial care and maintenance since.
