IN PICTURES: Nearly 200 people flock for 2024 Albany Harley Owners Group Rally on Saturday

Nearly 200 people flocked to Albany town square over the weekend for the 2024 Southern Thunder Albany Harley Owners Group Rally that rumbled through town.

Almost 200 people registered to take part in the rally, and 113 took part in the Thunder Run on Sunday that cruised around Albany and ended at the Show and Shine in Centennial Park.

People came from all over WA and as far as New Zealand, Queensland and Victoria to take part in the rally with one man riding from the Central Coast of NSW, and another from Hodgson Vale in Toowoomba, Queensland.

A guided history walk around Albany on Saturday allowed event participants to take in the historical sights of Albany, ending at The Alkoomi Cellar for a wine-tasting.

The rally’s banner was auctioned off for $2950 to fundraise for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
