As mentioned in the video description, the following footage comes from a build of the game that was released on May 8, 2023. This means that the footage originates from a build that was only six months away from release, showcasing the amount of work that Call of Duty developers need to do in such a short space of time.

The game was a massive success for Call of Duty despite the series moving away from the ‘****** Ops’ and ‘Modern Warfare’ brands (although it did sell less than ****** Ops 2). Within 24 hours of release, it generated over $1 billion in sales, and as of February 2024, it had sold 19 million units.
