A man accused of colliding with a road train in Albany after drinking alcohol, seriously injuring its driver, has appeared in court on three charges.

Timothy John Goosen appeared in Albany Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm, driving with a blood alcohol content above 0.08, and possessing cannabis.
