Ghost Of Yotei, A Ghost Of Tsushima Follow-Up, Announced At State Of Play

2020’s Ghost of Tsushima from developer ******* Punch is officially getting a sequel. Announced during the September 24 State of Play, Ghost of Yotei is in the works for PS5 and will launch in 2025.

Ghost of Tsushima was one of Sony’s fastest-selling new games ever at launch and has sold more than 8 million copies to date. So the announcement of a sequel was only a matter of time. A Director’s Cut of the game came to PC earlier this year with additional features.

In addition to the Ghost of Tsushima sequel, a movie based on the franchise is in the works from John Wick’s Chad Stahelski. The Ghosts of Tsushima movie is being developed under the PlayStation Productions banner.

This unit produced the movies Uncharted and Gran Turismo, as well as the Twisted Metal TV and The Last of Us series. Other upcoming projects include the **** of War and Horizon TV shows, and a Days Gone film.
