Get Ready for Double the Crunch with Doritos at Comic **** *******

Comic **** ******* is taking place this weekend, and Doritos is bringing the boldest crunch experience yet!

Offering both a casual VR tournament, as well as a king-of-the-hill style fighting game tournament, fans and gamers of all experience levels can stand a chance to win their share of R4000 every day.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro, or simply looking to try something new, Doritos is making sure there’s something for everyone.

The BOLDEST VR Competition

Following the success of Comic-**** Cape Town’s Doritos Crunch Cup VR League, this fully immersive experience – that places you in the game – is coming to Comic **** ******* for the first time with the popular rhythm game Beat Saber.

Take on the challenge of slashing through blocks and dodging obstacles, all while having your gameplay broadcast live on giant screens. Whether you’re playing or watching, the Doritos VR League promises excitement at every turn.

There is no need to pre-register, fans can simply head to the Doritos Crunch Zone in Hall 5 of Comic **** ******* and scan a QR code to register to play. The player with the highest score at the end of the session will see themselves walking away with R1000.

The Doritos Crunch Cup VR League welcomes casual and competitive fans to partake every day between 9:00 and 11:00, as well as from 13:00 to 15:00.

The Flamin’ Hot Moments Worth Fighting For

For the competitive gamers, the all-new Crunch Clash brings a king-of-the-hill-style tournament to Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8. One by one, players will make their way to the stage in the Crunch Zone (Hall 5) to face off against each other for a chance to build a Flamin’ Hot Streak – the longer you stay on top, the better your chances of walking away with the win.

The Crunch Clash will begin with two players – the winner stays in their seat to build up a “Flamin’ Hot Streak”, while the ****** makes way for a new contender.

At the end of the session, the fan with the highest Flamin’ Hot Streak will be crowned the session’s Crunch Clash winner and walkaway with a R1 000 cash prize.

The daily Crunch Clashes
Tekken 8 session will take place between 11:00 and 13:00
Street Fighter 6 session will take place between 15:00 to 17:00.
