is coming to Australia in 2025, with plug-in hybrid and pure petrol options axed in favour of a new mild-hybrid powertrain.

The Allure and GT Premium are available for pre-order now ahead of customer deliveries commencing early in the first quarter of 2025.

The range opens at $52,990 before on-road costs, up $2915 on the outgoing entry-level model.

A mid-spec GT will join the range “later”, with pricing yet to be announced for this variant.

turbocharged three-cylinder 48V mild-hybrid powertrain.

This sees a turbocharged 1.2-litre Miller cycle three-**** engine with 100kW and 230Nm mated with a 21kW/55Nm electric motor located within the transmission, which can provide an extra 9kW of power to the engine under full acceleration.

Peugeot says this powertrain allows for pure electric operation for low-speed driving, and the petrol motor can switch off to allow the vehicle to coast.

For comparison, outgoing petrol-powered 3008 models use between 5.6L/100km and 7.3L/100km on the combined cycle.

CO2 emissions have been reduced by up to 32 per cent compared to previous petrol 3008s.

Peugeot backs its cars with a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty.

It has yet to confirm service pricing for the new 3008.

Safety

Peugeot Australia hasn’t published a full list of safety equipment, but has confirmed all models will feature a surround-view camera.

The new 3008 has yet to be tested by ANCAP or Euro NCAP.
