With Fine and Dandy mandarin vodka, a dash of bianco vermouth and the unexpected addition of pickled apricot, if this sip doesn’t sound like the perfect spring *********, we don’t know what does. The Corelli’s Mandarin is just one of the additions to The Standard’s new ********* list as the popular venue shows off its fresh new look and culinary direction. After 10 years of dishing up a delicious array of Southeast ****** fare its moving towards a Mediterranean-inspired menu; think share plates of crisp saganaki drizzled with burnt honey and Greek custard paired with filo for those with a sweet tooth.

Fun, glamorous and *****, it’s the 11th year of this festival bringing burlesque, cabaret and variety performers from around the world to Perth and regional WA. It’s hosted by acclaimed drag queen BeBe Gunn and includes headliners Samson Night and Margot Mayhem from the US. The opening night is October 11 at The Court Hotel, followed by the Club Burlesque Gala at the Heath Ledger Theatre on October 12 (and afterparty at Connections) and then the show goes on the road, visiting Geraldton and Albany.
