The most recent ******** of Concord, which was shut down a few days after release, is the biggest example of the negative effects of its exculsivity and decisions taken against the favour of the gaming community. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Concord fell face first just 2 weeks after release. Sony Shoots Its Own Foot With Their $400 Million Blunder data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Concord is the largest gaming-related commercial ******** of Sony. Image Credit: Firewalk Studios Sony has still not released the much-wanted Bloodborne Remastered version for PS5, which is not the best move by the company since fans have been wanting to see the game make a comeback with better graphics and gameplay to PS5. Instead of reintroducing an already well-established and critically acclaimed game, Sony decided to ***** $400 million on an online hero shooter titled Concord. Concord was a Marvel-inspired game released on August 23 for PS5 and Windows. Sony wanted to expand the game into a Star Wars-level franchise; however, the game got mixed reviews from critics. People praised the gameplay but felt that it lacked character design and offered poor value for money as compared to other free-to-play hero shooters already in the market. Due to poor response from people, the game was eventually shut down on September 6, just 2 weeks after its release. The game is considered to be Sony’s most expensive game and its biggest commercial ********. Sony could have easily allocated the same amount of money to develop the remastered version of Bloodborne, which fans actually want and have been asking for for a long time now. This is one of the biggest reasons Sony was subjected to criticism since it ******* to meet players’ expectations and suffered its biggest commercial ********. A Bloodborne Remaster Would Have Worked Much Better Than Concord data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==A Bloodborne PS5 Remaster could have saved Sony’s sinking ship. Image Credit: Sony Sony could have easily bypassed the recent disaster by making the right decision. People have been wanting to see a Bloodborne Remaster in PS5 since the game is not best compatible with PS5 at the moment. Bloodborne was released back in 2015 and it still stands strong as one of the best soul-like game to have ever been released. Bloodborne is also getting an unofficial PC port. Sony has also ******* to become a part of the port as well, which was also a major cause for criticism against it. A Bloodborne Remaster would have worked much better for Sony as well as players instead of the half-cooked hero shooter Concord. Sony spent a huge amount to make the game and it fell face first. The could not even sustain 2 weeks and was shut down. What do you think about it? Let us know in the comments below.
