An experienced police detective ******** in a serious but stable condition in Royal Perth Hospital after he was allegedly run over by the driver of a car he had stopped as part of a ‘targeted’ operation.

The Sunday Times has obtained new details about the incident and the officer’s injuries after he was struck and temporally dragged under a vehicle in Belmont on Friday night.
