The laundry list of improvements goes on forever until early next year suggesting that the game will be released in an incomplete state. Perhaps it wouldn’t be the best idea to launch the game immediately on Day One and wait until all updates and improvements are made to get the best experience. Players will likely encounter issues during their earlier playthrough that could taint their perception of the game and ruin its chances of survival altogether.

Releasing the game by March 2025 would have been the more logical route; however, the game developers are adamant about releasing the game later this month with quality-of-life improvements on the back burner. The gaming community has high expectations for this Soulslike adventure and it seems like they will be getting bits and pieces of improvements throughout the following months.

Most modern triple-A video games have been released with countless performance issues, at an unstable rate or outright unplayable conditions. It has become a trend for game developers to throw whatever they have cobbled into a package and send it out to the world for players to spend their hard-earned money to get what they thought was a great gaming experience which is extremely unethical and a practice that should be forgotten altogether.

Amidst the hype and anticipation, CD Projekt Red dropped the ball spectacularly for the studio’s recent game. The PlayStation 4 versions would constantly ****** and the game is nowhere near the experience the game developers promised years ago during the marketing campaign. The game was polished after a series of updates and patches that made it stable and playable for the most part; unfortunately, the damage has already been done.

No words could describe how the gaming community felt when the video game was released. The game developers did not give up on the project and continued to work on the game and the modding community stepped in and did their part with an ultrarealistic graphics mod comparable to real life.

It is hard to bounce back after suffering a hit this massive and Jyamma Games could end up in a similar situation if the developers are not careful. The gaming community can be critical and impatient and will likely tear Enotria: The Last Song apart on launch day.

Jyamma Games had a roadmap prepared through March 2025 but it would have been for the best if these were already added to the base version. Playing an incomplete game will not be a great first impression.
