Gifting the NPCs of Pelican Town with their favorite items is one of the key aspects of the farming RPG as players are encouraged to really learn what the characters like and dislike. Previously, it always felt a little hollow since giving a gift was always met with a handful of repeated responses but fortunately, that's no longer the case.
