Helldivers 2 emerged as one of the most popular titles when it first launched in February 2024. With a recent patch that went live, the game added many more features.

The patch also encouraged players to jump back into the game, only to find new threats standing between them and the escalation of liberty. If you are in the same boat and wondering how to ***** Shreikers in Helldivers 2, this guide won’t let you down.

In Helldivers 2, players need co-operation and skill to ****** off bugs and bots. This is because the game has a lot of ****** classes making every firefight feel unique.

Shriekers in the game are medium-sized flying terminids which can appear incredibly scary at first glance due to their grand wingspan. However, their anatomy also leaves them vulnerable in places. For example for a Shrieker, their wings, legs, and abdomen are susceptible to light armor ************. These are also moderate weak points for them.

From its anatomy, it is clear that its wings are easy targets, followed by its abdomen and legs. However, if you desperately want to down a Shrieker as fast as possible, you need to equip a ******* with a magnified scope and aim for the Shrieker’s head.

Bear in mind that successfully hitting a Shrieker on its head will require a lot of concentration and accuracy on your part. Try to aim just above the point where both of their wings meet for a successful chance of landing a successful hit.

A pro tip to decapacitate the Shrieker is to hit its legs as it will use them to ******* you. So if you land a few hits on its legs, chances are you will blast them off and it will be a lot more likely that it won’t be able to hit you.

While the theoretical knowledge mentioned above can go a mile when it comes to ******** Shriekers. Establishing Liberty cannot be done on the drawing board.

In Helldivers 2 a team’s loadout needs to be balanced in terms of primaries, sidearms, support weapons, and even stratagems. When going against these gargoyle-esque flying terminids, your best bet is the Slugger Shotgun.

If you cannot line up a good shot and end up taking damage, ask for assistance from a fellow teammate who has a good ranged ******* like a Liberator Carbine to ****** off a Shrieker’s legs first. This will make it less likely to land a hit on you and when it tries to, you can promptly one-shot it using the Slugger.

Also, Machine Guns, Stalwart, and Anti-material rifles are great stratagems to have by your side when dealing with Shriekers. Now, once you take it down, it will once again try to kamikaze you by swooping in. Promptly diving, or sprinting sideways to evade its trajectory and prevent it from dealing any damage to you.

Dealing with Shriekers isn’t easy but you also have to ensure that you don’t let more of them spawn. To deal with a Shrieker nest get close to it and then call in a Hellbomb Stratagem.

Ensure that you call it close enough to all of the Shrieker nests in the vicinity to ensure that none of them remain. However, something to note is that once you call in the Hellbomb, arming it is another challenge you will need to complete.

If you have tonnes of enemies surrounding you, they will ******* the point at which you call the Hellbomb. So make sure that your squad can clear the area where you place the Hellbomb and then one of you can go ahead and arm it.

Another option to look at for the stratagem which one can use the clear a Shrieker nest is the Orbital 380mm HE Barrage. This Helldivers 2 stratagem is recommended because it has one of the widest areas of the game among all of the different stratagems in the game.

Throw it in the center, and if your throw is accurate enough, it will sweep all of them from the battle turf. Some other recommendations to consider in Helldivers 2 are the Recoilless Rifle or the Expendable Anti-tank.
