Fitzroy River Bridge awarded WA project of the year at Engineering Excellence Awards

A critical transport link in the Kimberley has been awarded the top gong at the WA Engineering Excellence Awards, after being destroyed by floods then rebuilt ahead of schedule.

The new Fitzroy River Bridge was awarded the WA project of the year at the 2024 Engineers Australia Excellence Awards — People and Projects WA, held at Optus Stadium on September 17.
