Pokémon Go have been exceptionally solid for the past few months. These events feature a specific Pokémon, allowing it to learn a powerful move. But it looks like October 2024 will be the month where Niantic misses the mark as it’s featuring a less-than-spooky Pokémon.

) account, the team revealed today that Sewaddle, the sewing Pokémon, will be the October 2024 Community Day featured choice. Sewaddle is a Bug and Grass-type, and its evolved form, Leavanny, shares the same typing. While this Pokémon might have made sense to feature in the spring, bringing it to the forefront in October—traditionally the month with more Dark and Ghost-type Pokémon—makes it feel like the team missed a note.
