The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the woman from Lubbock who ***** in a Sunday morning ****** in Floyd County.

According to DPS, 22-year-old Ashlee Breann Stevens was driving a 2016 Nissan Rouge at 3:24 a.m., traveling south on U.S. Highway 62, near mile marker 378 in Floyd County.

That is when Stevens was reported to have driven straight through a curve and into the improved shoulder of the roadway. According to DPS, Stevens lost control of the vehicle and traveled into a side skid on the west side of the roadway, which caused it to roll before coming to a final rest.

Stevens was pronounced ***** due to injuries received during the ******. According to DPS, she was not wearing her seatbelt, and road conditions were reported dry, with weather conditions being clear at the time of the ******.
