North Plantations & Inggara bushfire: Emergency warning issued as blaze threatens lives, homes near Carnarvon

An out-of-control bushfire is threatening homes near Carnarvon.

An emergency warning has been issued and people in North Plantations and Inggara regions in the Shire of Carnarvon have been warned to act immediately to survive.

Homes on North River Road are under threat by ***** now, the Department of ***** and Emergency Services has warned.

“If the way is clear, leave now for a safer place. This may be with family or friends away from the area,” the alert states.

“Leave in a northerly direction.

“Do not wait and see, leaving at the last minute could put your life in danger.”

The bushfire is burning in a westerly direction. It is not contained or controlled.
