Perth Wildcats are determined to seize upon the advantage of having the inaugural HoopsFest extravaganza in WA with import Kristian Doolittle saying everyone understands the significance of having an extra game at RAC Arena.

The Wildcats will begin their NBL campaign against South East Melbourne Phoenix on Friday night. That will follow Tasmania JackJumpers and Melbourne ******* opening the season with a grand final replay at RAC Arena the previous evening.
