Paul Conway, 67, travelled from Newcastle to Glenfinnan by train on Tuesday. He last spoke to his family on arrival at about 18:40. Mr Conway had planned to walk from Glenfinnan to Inverie in Knoydart – a distance of around 30 miles – but ******* to arrive as expected on Friday afternoon. He is around 5ft 10in, of stocky build with shaven grey hair. Mr Conway is believed to be wearing a green Paracore waterproof jacket with a hood, camouflage green shorts and walking boots. Officers said he was carrying a dark bergen-style bag and was in possession of two walking poles.
