It can be found around the map if you know where to look and is relatively easy to find despite having to be harvested by hand. How to find Mycelia Mycelia is collected from various mushrooms and plants around the map. Because of this, you won’t be able to put it on your production lines and will, instead, have to harvest it with a chainsaw. This seems a little tedious at first, but it is in abundance once you know where to look on the map. You can find Mycelia in every ***** around Satisfactory. It is in the form of glowing mushrooms. The smaller ones can be harvested by hand, and the larger blue ones must be cut down with a chainsaw. The mushrooms will grow back in time, so if you’re lucky enough to have a ***** nearby, there will be a steady supply. However, the best place to find Mycelia in Satisfactory is the purple area, just east of the Grassland starting area. Let’s look at the various areas on the map for Mycelia in Satisfactory. Mycelia locations in Satisfactory Depending on your starting point, you will determine where your best Mycelia farm is in Satisfactory. By far, the best one I have found is in the Grasslands, but there are perfectly good ones elsewhere. The overground spots you need to look for are circled in red, and the caves that contain the mushrooms are the yellow areas. Grasslands data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Screenshot: PC Invasion data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Screenshot: PC INvasion data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw== This area, just east of the Grasslands landing spot, has many trees and large mushroom structures that must be cut down with a chainsaw. This will result in the largest farm of Mycelia. Only a few minutes of chopping will result in more than a few stacks. To the west of this purple tree area, you will also find one of the many crashed pods containing a Hard Drive. However, you will need a 40W battery to get into it. Rocky Desert + Northern Forest These locations are not quite as lucky as the Grasslands for wide open spaces with Mycelia in Satisfactory, but there is still plenty to be found. Most of the farming locations are in caves, so make sure you are armed before heading in. The spiders in these caves are fast and vicious. Recovering your ****** chest from a ***** full of spiders is nobody’s idea of fun. However, the Northern Forest doesn’t seem to have any caves at all. So, the best place to farm Mycelia for both the Rocky Desert and the Northern Forest biome is actually the large canyon marked on the map. Between the two areas, this spot has many tall pink corals that can be cut down for a lot of Mycelia and is much less guarded. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Screenshot: PC Invasion data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Screenshot: PC Invasion Northern Deserts This is a tricky place to look for Mycelia in Satisfactory, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any. The best place to look for it is either along the coast, where you should find the purple coral mentioned before, or further south in the biome. Heading through the dunes and into the south of the area will eventually provide a number of trees. Any that aren’t bush or grass can be cut down for Mycelia. Look for the ones with purple leaves in particular. These will provide the most. They are scattered evenly around the map, so it’s a case of either going to the coast or taking a walk. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Image: This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up Fjorim Using Lizard Doggos One final way to farm Mycelia in Satisfactory is to use the Lizard Doggos to go out and fetch the resource for you. By taming the animals, you will have a **** that will go out and periodically bring back various resources. These are often low quality, but sometimes you will get lucky and receive some very rare items. Mycelia is one of the more commonly recovered items by the Lizard Doggos in Satisfactory. To tame these guys, look for the small pink dogs that also look a little like lizards. Approach them slowly and drop a Paleberry before backing off slightly. Eventually, the Lizard Doggo will approach the Paleberry and start to eat it. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///ywAAAAAAQABAAACAUwAOw==Screenshot: PC Invasion Once the Lizard Doggo has begun eating the Paleberry, it is safe to approach. Now, use the button to **** it, and it will be yours forever. The Lizard Doggo will follow you around until you ****. I suggest keeping the Lizard Doggo in a cage at your base. They will still be able to collect the resources for you, but it means that when you ****, they are in one place, ready to be tamed again. Lizard Doggos can often bring Mycelia to your base. However, they can’t be trained to collect one resource in particular, so you just have to get lucky. They are always good to have around simply for the fact that you may end up with super rare resources. Once you have a lot of Mycelia it’s time to start checking out what Alternate Recipes it can be used for. PC Invasion is supported by our audience.
