The AFL will be breathing a huge sigh of relief that the vast majority of suburban and country footy teams’ seasons are already over after Ken Hinkley’s post-game antics on Friday night.

Imagine the scenes at local grounds if a winning coach abused or mocked an opposition player on the field after a game. It would spark a brawl. We all know that local footballers copy AFL stars and what happens on TV on Friday night quickly appears at suburban venues the next day.
