The 3.5 metre apex predator was spotted swimming in the Crocodile Control Zone yesterday, as reported by Kimberley Parks and Wildlife Service. Rangers remain patrolling the area, and will attempt to relocate the crocodile in accordance with Broome Shire protocol. Kimberley Parks and Wildlife Service are urging beach goers to exercise caution and stay well away from the water’s edge in the affected area. To assist in the management of crocodiles near Broome, sightings should be reported to DBCA Parks and Wildlife Service Broome on (08) 9195 5500.
