Arrest warrants issued for several people connected to alleged prostitution ring in Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas (KXAN) — Arrests warrants were issued for several people in connection with an alleged prostitution ring that was located at an apartment complex in Pflugerville, according to court documents obtained by KXAN.

Investigators received a tip on Sept. 19, 2023, about the alleged prostitution ring connected to online advertisements, court documents said.

Online ads were placed on three websites “used for prostitution services,” in which customers were ultimately directed to the apartment complex for ****, according to court documents. There were nearly 350 ads placed, and thousands of suspicious transactions “related to human trafficking or prostitution” were found from Jan. 1, 2022 to Sept. 25, 2023, according to court documents.

During the investigation, around 45 different women were “associated” with the “**** services” in an “organized group over a ******* of approximately three and a half years,” court records said.

Online court records did not show whether any of those involved have been arrested. We will update this article if that changes.

What do authorities allege happened?

Documents claimed multiple different men entered the apartment, stayed inside for an average of thirty minutes and left. According to court documents, some men were dressed nice and others seemed to be taking a break from work while wearing construction clothes.

One of the affidavits gave a first hand account from an alleged customer.

Texas Department of Public Safety Special Agents pulled the person over after leaving the unit. The person told law enforcement they contacted a **** advertisement online, according to court documents. The alleged customer said it led them to the unit where they paid $160 in cash to have **** with a woman there.

One woman, labeled in an affidavit as one of the main suspects, was allegedly tied to more than 1,000 ad postings. According to court documents, her bank account had more than $1 million worth of incoming transfers in three years.

Authorities believed hundreds of thousands of dollars were related to human trafficking or some other suspicious activity.
