Man, 74, viciously attacked during road rage incident in Brooklyn: NYPD

SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A 74-year-old man was hospitalized after being attacked during a road rage incident in Brooklyn on Aug. 18, according to the NYPD.

He was walking on 8th Avenue in Sunset Park when the suspect put his vehicle in reverse and began to move. The man tapped on the vehicle to indicate that he was behind it, police said.

The suspect is accused of getting out of his vehicle to argue with the man, according to authorities. That’s when the man was punched in the face and head multiple times, causing him to fall to the ground, police said.

The suspect allegedly fled the scene. The man was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn.
