Northbound traffic on I-15 into the Salt Lake valley is also backed for miles near the point of the mountain between Draper and Lehi due to several car accidents.

The initial ****** happened around 8:30 a.m. near mile marker 287. That ****** is blocking the left lanes, causing a four-mile backup around the point of the mountain. UDOT estimates that the ****** to be cleared by 9:30 a.m. However, the slowing has caused other crashes in the back-up.

UDOT reports a second ****** on northbound I-15 near mile marker 284 at the SR-92 exit in Utah County. A third ****** is impacting traffic at mile marker 282 on the I-15 on-ramp. UDOT estimates these crashes to be cleared up by 10 a.m.
