Officers responded at about 5 p.m. to the 2700 block of Natchez Avenue, for a report of shots fired, according to a news release. There, they found three people wounded by gunfire.

A preliminary investigation revealed a 22-year-old man came to the location and started arguing with a 24-year-old woman. The man then fired several gunshots toward the woman, which also struck a 21-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man.

The three victims were transported to a hospital. There, the 24-year-old woman was pronounced *****, according to the release. One of the two other bystanders is reported to be in serious but stable condition, while the third victim is reportedly stable.
