Star Citizen first hit PC. In that time, Cloud Imperium has raised more than $720m in crowdfunding and carried the space MMO all the way to alpha version 4.0.0, which is expected to launch in the near future. We're still waiting on the single-player Squadron 42, and it might be a while until the full Star Citizen 1.0 launch arrives, but with the new system Pyro on the way, the persistent universe of SC feels ever closer. It seems, however, that Cloud Imperium might have a new game up its proverbial sleeve.
