I think recommending a computer in this situation actually makes a lot of sense. For a regular console, comparing it to a PC can be a bit confusing. But when you’re talking about a “Pro” console, it’s worth comparing it to the most “Pro” platform out there, which is a PC.

Building a gaming PC might cost more upfront, but over time, that cost evens out. You can often find games for much cheaper, and sometimes even for free if you’re okay with using services like EGS. Plus, you don’t need to pay for online services, backward compatibility is usually pretty good, and you can upgrade parts instead of buying a whole new system later.

Also, a PC isn’t just for gaming. You can use it for a lot more things, from work to different kinds of entertainment. Emulation is becoming more popular, and we’re even seeing progress with PS4 emulation. A console just doesn’t offer that kind of versatility.

So yeah, recommending a PC might not make much sense compared to a cheap, ordinary console. But when it comes to a product aimed at “*****,” it totally does.
