‘Tragic flaws’ in Qld assisted dying law, coroner finds

A Queensland coroner has criticised state voluntary assisted dying scheme safeguards after finding an elderly man ***** using a fatal substance meant for another person.

“Persons should not be placed in a position where they can be led into unwise decisions,” coroner David O’Connell said in his findings handed down on Wednesday.
