I really don’t see a future where you will have the cloud as the preferred method of access regardless of display network speeds etc there is always a significant fidelity loss and artifacting along with input lag connection hiccups every so often.

It’s a neat alternative when traveling for work or something I’ve used remote play and xcloud while waiting for a flight on a foldable phone and a snap on controller it was fine for the situation but not exactly playable I ended up booting up retro arch and digging into a snes game just because of input lag and artifacting.

I just don’t see this replacing my actual gaming hardware and I honestly don’t want to be beholden to a service or subscription for video games something I’ve been doing for decades with no strings attached now costs me every month is insane.

Who knows maybe I’m just to old for this sh*t
