Geraldton, Jurien Bay and Noble Falls battle out for Champion Cup in tri-series final

The final round of the tri-series motocross event in Geraldton delivered a thrilling conclusion to the season, with top riders from Geraldton, Jurien Bay, and Noble Falls battling it out for the championship cup.

Club spokesperson Makayla Edwards described the event as “one awesome day of racing”, with 180 riders pushing their limits on a well-maintained track with the weather behaving.

“We couldn’t have asked for anything better,” she said.

Geraldton’s racers demonstrated resilience throughout the day, as the track became more challenging.

The club’s track crew worked hard to keep the course in top form, ensuring that competitors could perform at their best.

Edwards praised the teamwork.

“Our racers stayed strong as the day went on, and the track got rough, but our track crew had things working well,” she said.

As the sun set on the racing, the celebrations kicked off, with a live performance from the band Loose Change making the night unforgettable.

Edwards emphasised the club’s aspirations for the future.
