Truck rollover on Geraldton-Mt Magnet Road in Bringo, traffic slowed in the area

A truck has rolled over on Geraldton-Mt Magnet Road, causing debris to spill on the road and the eastbound lane to be closed in Bringo.

Police received a report at about 1.30pm this afternoon, and responded to the incident.

According to Main Roads WA, the rollover occurred 1km west of Chintapee Road in Bringo, about 25km east of Geraldton.

Main Roads said traffic management is on site, where debris spilled on both sides of the road.

The eastbound lane has been blocked with a 40kmh restriction in place.

A police spokesperson told the Geraldton Guardian the cab stayed upright, but the trailers connected to the cab disconnected and rolled.

She said the driver was not harmed, and no other vehicles were involved.
