Rockstar Games Can Make Millions of Dollars If It Fixes 2 of the Biggest Criticism Against Its Best Survival Game

Red ***** Redemption 2 is arguably one of the best open-world games in recent memory. The game developers of Rockstar Games took the momentum of the original Red ***** Redemption and used all of their advanced toys, bells, and whistles from the recent Grand Theft Auto entry to offer the most immersive gaming experience possible paired with a compelling narrative and a detailed landscape. However; the game is far from perfect and fans pointed out it could have been better.

The developers implemented an online feature that did not have the same level of success as its GTA counterpart. Fans wished Rockstar Games gave them more ways to customize and tailor their online experience.

Red ***** Redemption 2 Was Great but Fans Think It Could Have Been Way Better

The gaming community was blown away by what Rockstar Games has cooked up for the last five years. Red ***** Redemption 2 was incredibly detailed even in the smallest area that could have easily flown over the heads of casual players. Roger Clark gave it his all to bring Arthur Morgan to life and revealed his one regret was mispronouncing Colm O’Driscoll’s name in-game while being an Irish man himself and that is one aspect he wishes he could redo.

Despite being universally praised by the gaming community and critics alike, the game is far from perfect. Other fans who are much more accustomed to the fast-paced and competitive nature of modern online multiplayer games could not get into the slow-paced nature of the narrative which is a foley and ridiculous complaint for a game crafted by the best of the industry. Some fans have much more valid criticisms that could be resolved by Rockstar Games.

Fans are upset they could not experience the game for the first time again. No matter how many times they can start a new save file, it will never be the same. However; the single-player story mode was practically flawless and the online mode could have been better if the developers allowed the players to host private lobbies and play with friends rather than strangers.

Not everyone is fond of online multiplayer games because not everyone is there to help and revel in making the experience of other players a living nightmare. The game developers crafted an impressive and detailed character creator feature and players wanted to take their avatars into the fictional states of America in 1899.

Online multiplayer is far from the safe gaming experience of single-player mode. However; the mode does offer more content that is not present in the base game and players would hate to miss out on more things to do, especially if they have much authority in how their characters appear in-game and do similar activities as Arthur or John in the single-player campaign.

Red ***** Redemption 2 Could Have Benefitted From a Single-Player Story Expansion

The gaming community was satisfied with Grand Theft Auto 5 and was enthusiastic after Rockstar Games promised a DLC. Years have passed and these were nothing but false promises and Red ***** Redemption 2 suffered the same fate which was a missed opportunity.

The developers could have given more story missions for John to do after avenging the ****** of Arthur. Although the ending was a perfect transition between the prequel and the original game, fans wish they could have done more as the character in-game instead of aimlessly wandering the map for days on end to satisfy their boredom.

Crafting a massive open-world game with an insane level of attention to detail is no minor feat. The developers had a lot on their plate and had to cut corners leaving some content on the cutting room floor. Leaked footage has surfaced and it shows the island of Guarma from Chapter 5 being much more detailed than anticipated which led people to speculate there were more things they could have done but the studio was probably on a time crunch to release the game.

Rockstar Games outdid themselves once again with this project. The game was perfect but fans couldn’t help to ask for more.
