PS5 Pro name seemingly confirmed by Sony ahead of imminent reveal

Sony appears to have inadvertently confirmed the name of PlayStation 5’s mid-gen refresh ahead of its official reveal.

Announcing the presentation, Sony said it will “focus on PS5 and innovations in gaming technology”.

According to a ***** which may now have been confirmed by Sony, PS5 Pro’s design will be similar to the PS5 Slim. The main difference is expected to be the addition of three ****** stripes across the middle of the system, differentiating it from the most recent console model.

Sony seemingly raised the price of PS5’s DualSense controller over the weekend. Multiple US retailers increased the price of the peripheral on Sunday, from $70 to $75, including Best Buy, Target, and PlayStation’s own Direct store.
