Fremantle captain Alex Pearce says he’s still wrestling with the club missing out on a spot in September but admits “if we were good enough, we would be in the finals right now”.

The Dockers were pushing for a top two spot with one month to go in the home and away season but lost their last four games to plummet out of the eight, finishing 10th.
