Construction at the new Burlington High School invites the community to leave their mark

Burlington High School is inviting people to leave their mark on the new building − literally. From now until Oct. 3, community members are invited to sign the last steel beam that will be lifted into place in October.

“This building belongs to all of us,” Burlington School District Superintendent Tom Flanagan said. “So, it’s a great feeling to know that we are close to putting the last piece of steel into place on this project, and an even better feeling to know that the community is able to be a part of that process.”

The project has been in the works since 2020 when officials closed the Burlington High School and Technical Center buildings
