The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is investigating the ******. MNPD told News 2 that several 911 calls reported that a man jumped from a parked car on Interstate 65 North before jumping over the median wall. When he jumped over the median, he was immediately struck by a vehicle and fatally hurt.

The driver of the vehicle that the man jumped from is still on the scene, according to MNPD. No further information was immediately released.
