Three children fighting for life after house ***** in Melbourne’s northwest

Three children are fighting for life after a ***** tore through a house in Melbourne’s northwestern suburbs.

Emergency services were called to a home in Fergus Court in Sydenham about 9.30pm on Sunday following reports of a house *****.

Firefighters entered the home to tackle the blaze and found three children inside, who were treated at the scene by paramedics.

The children were then rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Neighbouring properties are being assessed for smoke damage however the ***** didn’t spread.

An investigation has been launched into the circumstances of the blaze.

Police have urged anyone with information to come forward.
