Government eyes one million visitors target to Perth Zoo, as thousands claim free entry ticket

More than 11,000 Perth families have already claimed their free Zoo tickets, as the Government seeks to draw a million people through the doors of the popular attraction each year.

Announcing a free ticket scheme in South Perth on Sunday, Premier Roger Cook acknowledged that while the Zoo helped keep kids entertained, the cost had become “fairly expensive”.
