GTA VI Fans Have Stumbled Upon What Is Likely Rockstar’s Genius Plan to Keep Players Within the Boundaries During Early Game

GTA VI is arguably next year’s most anticipated game, and the gaming community is beyond excited. Fans are digging deeper into the promotional materials, looking for clues and other references that could be tucked away between the lines. Some fans have grown impatient for the lack of new content related to the game and decided to dissect the cover art. They noticed something interesting that could have major implications for the story and a clever way to keep Lucia within city limits.

If this is the case, this could be Rockstar Games’ way to maintain a boundary between cities akin to older Grand Theft Auto installments. The ankle monitor could make things much more difficult for Lucia living a life of ******.

Fans Are Convinced the Ankle Monitor Will Pose a Problem in Exploring the GTA VI Map

Game development can take a toll, and be time-consuming. Rockstar Games could already feel the immense hype and anticipation from the gaming community and wanted to deliver a project worth the decade-long wait. The developers have been working on multiple projects alongside GTA VI; unfortunately, the VR version of GTA: San Andreas is on hold indefinitely which could increase the workforce towards the next major entry coming out next year.

Despite the lack of new promotional material, fans are still optimistic that a second trailer is on the horizon. Until then, fans had to make do with what was given and hunt for clues in their spare time. One key detail about the cover art stood out which is the ankle monitor strapped onto Lucia and this device could affect a player’s chances of exploring the State of Leonida which could be an interesting feature to keep players within city limits.

Earlier titles had multiple cities or islands locked from the start and would be accessible after a few story missions. If a player found a way to work around the boundary, they would be immediately hunted down by the law. Unlike GTA V where players can freely roam the state of San Andreas from the city of Los Santos to Blaine County, there is a strong likelihood this will not be the case for GTA VI.

The gaming community assumed GTA VI to have an astronomically high budget which could reflect the in-game content players will see. Perhaps the developers wanted to perfect each city or island and did not want the players to spoil the experience for themselves. The visual and graphical breakthroughs Rockstar Games achieved in Red ***** Redemption 2 could be improved upon in this ambitious project and take full advantage of the most advanced version of the studio’s proprietary gaming engine.

GTA VI Could Bring Back a Classic Boundary Feature That Kept Players From Straying From the Main Path

Other players always felt like the developers at Rockstar Games have been playing it safe recently and not giving players enough freedom to commit greater ******* in-game. Players could not rob banks in the previous installment and it is repeated in the same vain by strapping the ankle monitor that will keep Lucia from leaving a certain area.

Too much freedom can be a negative attribute from a certain point of view. If players were to freely explore the entire map without posing restrictions and boundaries, they would be easily distracted to pursue every little detail that catches their attention.

Older games cleverly destroyed the bridges that connect the islands and added signs saying it is under construction. Doing story modes will eventually grant players access to these areas anyway.

Rockstar Games may attempt to keep the players’ attention in the first area learning the ropes and understanding the new and improved game mechanics. Boundaries are instilled for a reason and are meant to protect people rather than block them.
