Consistent gelding Saloon Bar was rewarded for a string of hoof-on-the-till performances when he landed a feature in the Listed $125,000 Swan Draught Farnley Stakes (1400m) at Belmont on Saturday.

From gate two, Saloon Bar, who was a $9.50 hope on TABtouch at market close, landed immediately outside owner-mate and heavily backed $1.85 favourite Triple Jay who had the pole position.
