Xbox Game Pass Losing 3 Games in One Day Might Just Snowball Into the Downfall of Sony’s Biggest Headache

Xbox Game Pass has always been a treat for the fans of this highly reputed console company. This subscription service lets you play popular AAA and indie titles, too, without actually owning them. The service also lets you play the multiplayer version of the games.

However, it’s impossible to put the entire huge gaming library of Xbox into the Game Pass at once. That’s why some of the games left the subscription service on August 31, and that might well be a big setback for the arch rivals of Sony’s console company.

Three Popular Titles Have Left Xbox Game Pass

generally removes games from the Game Pass catalog every two weeks. Previously we have seen on August 15, fans were exempt from four popular titles from the popular subscription service: Shadow Warrior 3Airborne KingdomOffworld Trading Company, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

And after that, the company initiated another cut with three popular titles: NBA 2K24, Atomic Heart, and Guilty Gear Strive. It was a sad day for NBA 2K fans because this installment of the popular basketball simulation titles made the least amount of presence in the Game Pass library as it was added just in March 2024.

Talking about the other titles, they have been a part of the library since the beginning of 2023, as Atomic Heart was a day-one release in the Game Pass in March, whereas Guilty Gear Strive joined the party after almost 20 months of its original launch.

After the departure of this trio, it might well be adjudged that August marks a sad time for Xbox fans as only six new titles were added in this month in the Game Pass catalog, whereas seven have been removed.

The Game Pass has always been an upper hand for Xbox in edging PlayStation in console war. We have already seen how

’s console company goes past Sony’s with its subscription service despite PlayStation having a better exclusive library.

However, the constant battle between the consoles might well see Xbox falling behind PlayStation due to the departure of these three popular titles along with the previous four in August. As Game Pass is the only key to Xbox’s dominance in the console war, failing to deliver potential efforts in the subscription segment can well be the final pin in the coffin for the green team.

Among those six, Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 is not counted because it has been available on the Game Pass since August 30 but is in a beta phase. Things might not be that bad if SOPA: The Tale of the Stolen Potato had fulfilled its promise to launch in its previously stated 2024 release window. However, there are some upcoming titles that might make fans happy.

Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 Could Have Been a Sigh of Relief

Call of Duty: ****** Ops 6 doesn’t run well through Xbox Game Pass sharing.

The highly anticipated Call of Duty title has been a part of the Game Pass library since August 30. Since then, fans couldn’t restrict themselves from unleashing their fantasies through the ****** Ops 6 beta. However, things didn’t go as it was thought to.

Xbox Game Pass sharing is a way to share your game pass titles with your relatives, friends, and families even when you are not logged in. But this is where the main problem *****.

Many fans complained that the company stated to pre-order the title when they were going for the ****** Ops 6 open beta, shared through the Xbox Game Pass sharing. Not only that, all of these dramas are happening after the store shows that the beta is owned by that specific user.

Xbox is in some heavy turmoil right now. The departure of seven titles in a single month, including the trio of those fan favorite titles, has been making some heavy noises. That noise might have been covered with that beta release of ****** Ops 6, but as things stand, the beta version might have joined the noise.
