Coroner identifies custodial worker at Dunmore Elementary

DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland has identified the man that was found ***** in Dunmore Elementary School.

According to the release, 81-year-old Gary Porter was discovered deceased in the school on Tuesday night.

Porter was a contracted custodial worker for the school.

Dunmore Police Chief Salvatore Marchese tells 28/22 News that they, along with the Lackawanna County DA, are actively investigating a ****** at the Dunmore Elementary Center after a man ***** in the school on August 27.

Over 40 cats removed from Olyphant home

Dunmore School District Superintendent, John Marichak, tells us a member of a contracted cleaning crew ***** in the school last week, one day before students returned to begin the school year.
