An 18-year-old man has ***** after a horrific ****** south of Perth.

The ****** occurred around 10.50pm on Tuesday when the teen was driving a silver Mitsubishi 380 sedan north on Rockingham Road.

As the Mitsubishi approached the intersection of Russell Road, it veered off the road and collided with several trees.

The impact ejected the driver from the car, leaving him on the roadway.

Tragically, a passing vehicle that had stopped to provide assistance struck the driver.

The teen was left critically injured before dying at the scene.
