The City of Bayswater has invited pump and filtration system companies to make a bid for works at the algae-infested Maylands Lakes.

The Brearley, Bungana and Brickwork lakes in Maylands have suffered persistent water quality issues for more than 10 years, resulting in algae blooms and plagues of midges.
