Nintendo of Europe Announces Leadership Shake-up Following President’s Resignation

Recent changes have taken place in the highest echelons of Nintendo of Europe, with the firm’s President, Stephan Bole, stepping down from the company. He was in his position as President for more than six years, replacing Satoru Shibata in 2018. Following a 35-year career at Nintendo, Bole has left to seemingly retire, stressing that he is ‘calling an end to his professional career’.

He’s being replaced by Luciano Perena, who previously served as the CFO of Nintendo of Europe.

In other appointments, Laurent Fischer has been named the new COO of Nintendo of Europe. He has been with Nintendo in a marketing capacity since 1998, making him another veteran of the gaming titan.

This news follows a grand restructuring effort at Nintendo that sought to bring together an array of ********* entities and have them merge under one banner. Now, all ********* operations are headquartered in Frankfurt.

Officially, Perena will become the President, CEO, and Chairman of Nintendo of Europe, a prestigious title for sure.
