One person ***** after Labor Day ********* in Coachella; investigation ongoing

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a ********* that ******* one person in Coachella early Monday morning.

Sgt. Wenndy Brito-Gonzalez said deputies were dispatched to the 85-000 block of Valley Road at 5:27 a.m. for a *********. The person who reported the ********* told officers he’d seen what looked like bullet impacts on the home and car when he got there, she said.

Deputies found the victim inside the home and rendered medical aid until paramedics arrived, but the victim was later pronounced ***** at the scene.

Brito-Gonzalez said no arrests have been made yet, and the sheriff’s department investigation is ongoing.
