US-131 lanes back open after ****** in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Part of US-131 was shut down Monday evening for a ****** that appeared to involve a camper trailer flipped over on the freeway.

At 5:12 p.m., the Michigan Department of Transportation said northbound US-131 was closed at Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids because of a ******.

A News 8 skycam had a view of the ******, where a camper attached to a white pickup truck looks to have flipped over and was blocking all the lanes. An ambulance, firetrucks and police cruisers were spotted at the scene.

It’s not clear what caused the ****** or if anyone was injured.

At 6:49 p.m., MDOT said all lanes had reopened.
