Three wounded in separate New Orleans shootings

) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating separate shootings that left three people wounded on Sunday, Sept. 1.

According to the NOPD, a 29-year-old woman who had reportedly been shot in the 400 block of South Solomon Street arrived at a hospital around 2:45 a.m.

About 10 minutes later, NOPD officials said officers responded to a second ********* in the 7700 block of Lacombe Street around 2:55 a.m.

At the scene, officers said they found a female with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The NOPD reported that officers responded to a third ********* shortly after the second in the 10800 block of Hayne Boulevard, where they found a man suffering with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

According to NOPD investigators, the shootings on Lacombe Street and Hayne Boulevard are “believed to be related.”
